One Tree Hill

Ahhh, character kissing on televised dramas.

This is one of those shows I can "watch" as background noise while I hand wash my dishes in my tiny apartment. Poke my head around the corner when something interesting starts happening. Pure guilty pleasure when my iPod batteries are low.

Anyhow ... pleased to note the use of "Inside of Love" by Nada Surf in the episode "Hanging By a Moment" (shaddup, I looked it up on the WB website). Having just returned from the nada surf shows a few nights back, I instantly perked up when I heard the song. Watched Lucas and Peyton kissing in the halls of their fictional high school. Fantastic.

Lost In Translation

I'm actually not that impressed. Ambient filming in Japan. Moderate scripting. Could have been brilliant five years ago. People keep talking about Bill Murray's performance. Did these folks miss "Rushmore"? It's SadSap part II, the alcoholic years.

Pitch Black

Vin Diesel ... awesome.

Squick factor ... ugh.

Crime of Passion (film noir)

Classic film noir. Saw at the castro theatre in San Francisco, as all good noir should be seen on the big screen. Full review later, but it just wasn't dark enough for me. Kill 'em all!

The Last Picture Show

Maybe I was in the wrong mood to watch this black and white "classic", but ... yawn ... I fell asleep halfway through. Nice female full titty action, but it really wasn't enough. If any of y'all feel like trying this one again at a later date, let me know.
