With the release of "Impeccable Blahs" this summer, Brooklyn's Eric Elbogen (vox, guitar), Jeff Sheinkopf (keys, some vox), and Chris Egan (drums) summoned up a comprehensive mixture of complicated songs, perfect for a sweltering but lonesome summer soundtrack. Their music doesn't strike you right away, but somehow gets under your skin and works its subtle magic slowly  -- but effectively. It is always a delight to have these boys come through town.
